HiYall,
I notice this list has no posts but I figured I would give it a try.

To wit -- I'm a freelance writer who has done material for middle-grade readers, young adults, and adults, both in fiction and nonfiction.
I specialize mostly in the paranormal and "Twilight Zone" type of tales, as well as Sci-Fi. My one adult sci-fi novel and three nonfiction Star Trek books were published by Bantam Books. I say all this, not to blow my tinny little horn :geek:but to establish that I'm a professional writer.

Okay, I see heads nodding off so I'll cut to the quick -- I have a chapter by chapter outline for a sci-fi time travel tale that I think would make a great Graphic Novel and not being an artist myself, can anyone tell me how to go about submitting this to a Graphic Novel Publisher?

hey razz, welcome to the board.

i moved your thread to the help wanted forum since the writers workshop is for writers to post any work they have for feedback and since you're looking for help, well this seemed like the right place to put it.

As to your question, most of the smaller publishers accept writing submissions but sometimes require any pitch for a new book or series to have an art team already in place (and preferably already working on it) if you cant find an art team they might hook you up with an artist they know.

The best way to know for sure is to look up a publishers submission guide on their website and email the contact.
The fact that you already have books published gives you huge leg up. The question now is to find the right publisher for your material but like I said before they usually want a complete team when submitting a pitch.

You should post a snippet of your GN (a few pages of script) that you're looking to publish along with an "artist wanted" header, that'll give any potential collaborator an idea of what the project is about, if it's something they are able to do and all that.

This place is still in it's infancy bu there are plenty of other forums for artists where you could find a collaborator.
